From ESPN.com -
Boston Celtics guard Mickael Pietrus appeared to suffer a serious head injury during the second quarter of Friday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers and was taken off the court on a stretcher.
There was no immediate word from the team on his condition.
I wasn’t home for tonight’s game, but after watching the replay, it did not look good.
According to CSNNE’s Greg Dickerson, he saw blood coming from the mouth of Pietrus. I’m no doctor, but that sounds extremely serious.
Thoughts and prayers go out to Mickael Pietrus. If any news should become available, I will keep you updated.
